trunk closed
driver speaking in a foreign language
windows rolled up
accelerating rapidly
a distant siren
flowing forward
lights, camera

Different

chanting by myself
in angry determination
commenting to myself
some call it insanity
I call it entertainment
either way, it’s exciting

Vigil

blood thirsty invaders
offering a warriors death
a land with honor
spirits roaming for eternity
familiar with the magnificent beliefs
a concept of a soldier

Watchers

standing in the front door
two strange figures
another in the street
walking into the house
the door swung shut
a man stood in stone form
waiting infinitely, playing a time game
his hand raised
an ill feeling, wrenching my brain
a harsh darkness sweeping me away
